So if you’ve been following this blog since March this year, you will know that these past few months have been super crazy for me. I’ve lost my job, started a business, blogged everyday and have gained myself a decent following in the process.
It all looks super impressive on paper – but believe me when I say that I am pretty bushed/knackered/tired/penat/capek/很累 depending on your favorite vernacular.
Managing a growing accounting business and sticking to the three blog posts a week plan is pretty tiring!
So with that, I am going to take a one week break from blogging!
But fret not, I won’t be spending time playing video games and eating junk food. In fact, I have a few things planned out during this one week break:
- Catch up on some accounting and tax work (due dates for tax returns are July 20 – have you filed your tax return yet fellow kiwis?)
- Prep some awesome collab posts with fellow financial bloggers – this takes time to get done right!
- Write out some app reviews for small businesses
- Get around to producing a video series on Financial Literacy
- Start drawing an educational comic on Financial Literacy
Admittedly, I’ve set some ambitious goals to achieve over this break time – but if I don’t have to worry about publishing this coming week, I can really focus my efforts in getting 2 to 3 things off that list done at least!
I will still be sharing old posts on my facebook page (please Like and Follow if you haven’t!) on a daily basis (just so that y’all keep driving traffic to my blog!).
This break will last starting from today until 29 June 2020 (which is when I will publish again). In the meantime, you can still get in touch with me via my FB page or by sending an e-mail to sam@samharith.com .
Take care accounting fans!
Stay positive!
Love,
Sam
